Taylor Jones has lived in 'the 308' since he was 5 months old...

...when his family moved from Phoenix to Arapahoe, NE. Upon moving to Grand Island, Taylor became extremely involved in various band, choir, and theatre ensembles. He knew at a young age that his love for the arts was going to be a huge part of his life's work on earth.

Upon graduation from Northwest High School, Taylor chose to attend the University of Nebraska - Lincoln to study music education. While in school, Taylor was involved in numerous University ensembles and lead music for a local church and student ministry. Taylor loved his time in eastern Nebraska, but his love for the people and community brought him back to the 308.

In 2009, Taylor began working at Grand Island Senior High as a music teacher. During this time, he was also serving part-time at Third City Christian Church. In the summer of 2010, Taylor took the call to ministry to work full-time as the Director of Worship Ministries at Third City (he still serves in this role).

Taylor and his wife, Jamie, attended elementary, middle, and high school together, and God would bring them together for the first time in 2011. They have since been married and have an incredible 2 year old son, Ezra. Jamie has been dancing since the age of three and has a desire to see students grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally through the art of dance.

Taylor has also recently served as the Production Director for the Nebraska Danger, the AVL specialist for the Heartland Events Center, a frequent guest speaker for various Church leaders around the state, and a freelance Videographer for live shows and other events.

Taylor has long had a passion to "create" a space for artists in "the 308" to be able to explore the language of art. He is excited to be on this journey and knows that this opportunity for students to create art, teamwork, and community will be a wonderful opportunity for all.
